ASHLYN SAMANTHA GRIFFIN
There's nothing that you should hide.
Now I know, I know that something's wrong...
With you.
We can talk it out, we can figure out.
What's going on inside
What are you running from?
What do you have to hide?
Tell me what's on your mind.
What you feel, what do you believe?
What is inside you that makes you scream?
There's nothing that you should hide.
Now I know, I know that something's wrong...
With you.
We can talk it out, we can figure out.
What's going on inside
What are you running from?
What do you have to hide?
Tell me what's on your mind.
What you feel, what do you believe?
What is inside you that makes you scream?

It was a cloudy day in the Olympic Penninsula. The perfect weather for hunting. Ashley had left the house around an hour ago. It was a Saturday morning and school was off for the weekend. Last night, her parents had insisted on her having a hunting trip the next morning first thing. She was having some trouble Friday being around humans, and Will had inform this to their parents. "There is no point in being all masochistic and suffering to suffer." Had said Alice. "We understand that you are trying to develop more resistance, but its been over two weeks, you need to give yourself a break". Jasper was right, and so was Alice. After all, they knew more about the subject than she did. For a girl, that had spend most of her early vampire life drinking animal blood and resisting the scent due to her biological human parents being around her, not being able to control her thirst now, was unnaceptable. But it isn't a easy habit you can get yourself into. It's not like it is a drug. Unfourtunatly you can't get addicted to this things, because at the end, human blood is a more powerful thing.
So young Ashley Hale was out that day, looking for her favourite animal. Jaguar. To show itself. There is a limit population of jaguars in the Olympic Penninsula, there is almost not enough, but they are Ashley's favourite animal blood and that day, for no specific reason, she felt like she was going to have all what she wanted. Looking at all sides of the forest, not letting one single corner miss her eye, she looked for her pray. She used the skills Jasper had taught her. A deer passed in front of her. Her black eyes followed the animal but she stayed just were she was, her energy needed to be safe for another victim. 10 minutes passed, but Ashley was no less patient than she had been at the beginning of her hunt. She could wait as long as it was needed, she had time on her side. It seemed like the young girl hadn't move from her position. She was standing so still anyone could have thought of her as a statue. Nothing she did disturbed the environment. Not even breathing, which at that moment, wasn't required.
The moment came. There standing a few meters from Ashley was a male adult jaguar. She smiled and her smile express satisfaction. It all happen so fast. The jaguar had few seconds to realize there was danger. When he saw Ashley he began to ran, for the animal was no fool in concluding that by the way the girl moved and how it attacked, she was the predator in the situation. It's funny to see the predators become the prey. The chase of the jaguar was fast, almost too easy. Ashley caugth the animal, she throw herself at it and in no time, she was expirencing the sweet taste the animal's blood had. She just had to brake some bones and cut some parts, but all of that didn't matter to her. She had grown used to tearing animals apart to satisfy her needs, even if it wasn't a pretty picture. She drank and drank, drowing the animal completely out of blood. No blood must be left untouched. Once the animal was completely drown it didn't really was worth its use for anything. She decided to leave it there for other animals to enjoy their rest.
Her eyes were topaz gold once again. That jaguar had just been satifying. Of course it wouldn't be the same as drinking human blood but it seemed to have almost the same conforting feeling. Ashley stood up and looked at herself. Not one chocolate brown hair had been more. Her hair had been a mixture of curls and straight, she had a pink diadem on it and it looked beautiful with her Outfit. Not one single blood strain had ruin her outfit. Everything seemed as it had never been touched, as if the hunting had never happened. She smiled at herself in satisfaction. She took one step but as her foot landed in the ground to make her body move, she heard a wood stick break. Ashley turned to look at the place the noise came from, waiting for something or someone to show up.
